You really need to save the date for this one! It’s our annual holiday social, and our installation of the incoming Board of Directors for the 2020 term. We also recognize our chapter members, and well, it’s always been a fun, after-work evening. This is a free event for SDA members, and one low price for non-members. A buffet-style dinner will be served.

If you are registering other people for this event, you can do it all at once. Just be sure to select the appropriate price for each person you are registering (SDA member or non-member), and then please enter the additional attendees’ names and email addresses in the Additional Attendees field on the checkout page.

No-shows and cancellations after 12:00 PM (Pacific) on November 25 will not be refunded.

About SDA Seattle
We won the 2015 Chapter Excellence Award, and . . . drum roll, please . . . we also won the 2019 Chapter Excellence Award!

One of our chapter strengths is offering educational business practice events that cover the Professional Emphasis Groups of SDA: project management/administration, finance, marketing, office administration, and human resources. In 2018 (the criteria year for the award) we offered a whopping 18.75 continuing education credits!

The juror comments included: Sounds like a great chapter to belong to. Seattle knocked it out of the park with their educational program, providing 18.75 CEUs – very valuable programming for the broader A/E/C community. Seattle offered the most CEUs of any applicant and had 2 new CDFAs. An impressive 42% of Seattle Members have their CDFA or SDA/C.

SDA is an organization whose members work in the design industry for architectural, engineering, construction (A/E/C), and related industry firms.

Our Mission: SDA advances management and administrative professionals in the A/E/C industry through education, networking, and resources.

Members of SDA benefit locally and nationally. Locally, you stay connected by attending our chapter’s educational and social events, subscribing to our mailing list, and subscribing to our blog. Nationally, you stay connected to other A/E/C administrators through on-line forums and Social Link, and national conferences (aka EDSymposiums). Together, you have a strong network of supportive individuals who are considered subject matter experts in their field.
