About IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter

The Northern Pacific Chapter of the International Interior Design Association consists of over 400 members from Alaska, Idaho, Washington, Alberta, and British Columbia. Our objective is to provide diverse educational and networking opportunities to strengthen the design community while cultivating our member volunteers into leaders, thus, furthering the profession of Interior Design.

“The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) is a professional networking and educational association representing more than 15,000 interior designers, industry partners and students of interior design from 58 countries. There are more than 35 IIDA Chapters world-wide dedicated to enhancing the public’s quality of life through excellence in interior design.

IIDA was founded in 1994 as the result of a merger of the Institute of Business Designers (IBD); the International Society of Interior Designers (ISID); and the Council of Federal Interior Designers (CFID). The goal of the merger was to create an international association with a united mission that would represent Interior Designers worldwide. Since that date, IIDA has worked to convene communities of Interior Designers across regions and specialties representing the interests for the entire community.”
